Brethren, Peace and Good to all of you.
I'm waking up to the news that the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, has announced his abdication effective February 28. He's resigning for health reasons. Let us pray for the Holy Father and for the future Conclave.
This is a momentous decision. I'm sad for our loss but I understand the Holy Father's wishes. The Holy Spirit will continue guiding the Church in her mission toward the end, who is God in Christ.
