Folks, Pastor Terry Jones is waffling and his statements are very confused - so is the situation.
Despite that, I still think Pastor Jones has a Christian conscience that may be influenced by reasoned appeal and prayer. Therefore, let us pray that Pastor Jones abandons his idea of burning Korans for the right reasons, and not merely because of quid pro quo with the New York imam whose conscience, so far, has been shown to be impervious to reasoned requests to respect our memories.
