Today’s Memorial Day

Folks, today’s Memorial Day, and I want to inconvenience you for just a moment to remember those soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, coastguardmen, and auxiliaries who gave the last measure of devotion in defense of our country. You know, this country is not perfect, and we know that, and that’s why we keep struggling for a better tomorrow for our children. Hence, I harbor no doubt that it is worth defending, just for that reason. Let’s pause, pray, think, and reflect, about the price we pay for our freedom.

Hi Theo- Happy Memorial Day - It is no inconvenience to remember those who sacrificed for our freedom and continue to do so - it is an honor to pause today and each and every day and pray for them, especially during war.
Please, on another note, could you please ask your readers to pray also for us on the Gulf - no oil here in Florida but a huge concern - we feel it is a matter of time - and even if it does not come here - the lower Southern States are suffering greatly as well as the sea life, birds and the life giving plants that are home to migrating and spawning creatures. BP has hired many locals to take their boats out and help clean it up and they are getting sick from the chemicals used. It is very scary - we need some peace of mind - thank you.

Hi Linda: I'm monitoring the situation in the Gulf and pray for your what's going on. I was in Miami recently and the fear is palpable.

Hi Lloyd, I've added your blog to my "Other Worthy Blogs" Blogroll. Keep on living the Good News!
