The only thing though is that
in section 60 of Evangelium Vitae, John Paul II though he himself veered toward immediate ensoulment, he states in that section (online and easily found)
that the Magisterium has not yet expressly committed itself to the moment of ensoulment. This week pro life people sometimes seem to speak that it is clearly settled.
What John Paul II did say is that the fertilized conceptus is to be treated as though it is a person but he states the above as to the Magisterium...ie that it has not expressly committed itself on the moment of ensoulment.
